Music Lessons
As they progress through their elementary years, students will have a wide variety of musical experiences in singing, moving, and playing instruments. Students will sing a variety of songs, including folk, seasonal, multicultural, and patriotic. Listening to music to analyze and describe is integrated into every lesson. They will participate in singing games, folk dances, and free and patterned movement. They will have opportunities to create and compose. They will play and listen to instruments representing the spectrum of timbre. Students will experience how music relates to other arts and the world around them.
