Kindergarten: Chinese song and movement with scarves, each half of room copy the lady on their side
Activity: Create bug rhythms with the picture cards. S clap and say the rhythm. Try different order/ patterns.
3rd grade: Centers
Note drawing practice (Copy off the big white board in back)
Play the purple rhythm cards with rhythm sticks (as a group together) Do not tap the cards with sticks.

If time: Instrument play along: Minecraft rhythm play along (2 groups: Rhythm sticks on quarter notes, tambourines on 8th notes, nobody plays on the rests)

Boomwhacker links for 4th/5th grades: They may have 1 or 2 tubes, best if they very gently tap the floor with the tube laying flat, not the ends. If it's too loud to hear the music everyone has to have only 1 tube.
4th grade: Centers
Draw the notes page and play on recorders
Practice a karate belt song with a friend, in the back. No goofing around. No testing today.
